Prefer a day by the pool instead of planned activities? An afternoon to shop or visit nearby museums? An African safari? A full circumnavigation of the globe or a small-ship adventure in Alaska?

That’s what this site's all about – travel. Unlike many other sites on travel, I hope to make this one a bit different. I’m not here to compete with all the glitz, deals, and bargains to be had all over the internet. I’m here to give you down-to-earth advice and suggestions on travel options ’round the world. It may take a while because, as you know, the world is a pretty big place with lots to cover. I’ll try my best!

From time to time, I’ll also throw in a “tidbit” about something or nothing – just to make life interesting…our Only in America! category is an example. Might even let you in on what it's like being in the travel business and how to get started if you have a yearning to do so...
